🌿 Appreciation of Allah’s Graces (Ni‘mah)

Allah has blessed us with countless blessings—both seen and unseen. Islam encourages us to recognize, appreciate, and give thanks (shukr) for all that He has given us.

🔹 In the Qur’an:

“And if you try to count the blessings of Allah, never will you be able to count them. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.”
Surah An-Nahl (16:18)

“So remember Me; I will remember you. And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me.”
Surah Al-Baqarah (2:152)

“If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.”
Surah Ibrahim (14:7)

🟢 These verses teach us that:

  • Allah’s blessings are limitless.
  • Gratitude brings more blessings.
  • Neglecting or denying blessings leads to loss or punishment.

🔹 From Hadith:

  1. Thankfulness to People = Thankfulness to Allah:

“He who does not thank the people is not thankful to Allah.”
Sunan Abi Dawood (4811)

  1. Gratitude Brings Good:

“Amazing is the affair of the believer, for there is good for him in every matter — and this is not the case with anyone except the believer. If he is happy, then he thanks Allah and thus there is good for him; and if he is harmed, then he shows patience and thus there is good for him.”
Sahih Muslim (2999)
